So as I mentioned in a previous Blog post, we'll be homeward (well, home for me) bound shortly after our wedding here in Minnesota.
After much discussion and planning (and prodding from me), we'll be stopping in Goddard, Kansas. Why stop in the middle of Flyover Country in Nowheresville, Middle America?
Penguins. Specifically being able to swim with them.
There's a park there in Goddard where one can book a swimming encounter with penguins. I thought that, as we're on this road trip as a newly married couple, it'd be a once-in-a-lifetime (until we do it again, I guess?) chance to be able to swim amongst our favorite little birds.
It'll be a nice little stopover before we continue our journey across the country (and, of course, to In n Out) to get to California - and then an additional visit to Monty in Santa Barbara.
